OUR STORY
Polish-born Nicolaus Copernicus is often described as the man who stopped the Sun and moved the Earth. The Copernican Revolution had irrevocably changed the human thought, changed perspective on cosmos with Copernicus himself becoming the symbol of synthetic and creative thinking as well as courage in pursuing truth.
Copernicana brings together the creativity and originality of Copernicus’ ideas with feminine element of its founders.
We draw inspiration from Copernicus’ achievements and seek to place ethnic minority communities on the map of the Shakespeare’s Country. In line with the spirit of Renaissance Poland, Copernicus was a polyglot and polymath who contributed to the community working as a physician, astronomer, economist, mathematician, translator, doctor of cannon law and a diplomat.
Copernicana, by combining such skills as psychology, education, social care, translation, journalism and community activism, supports the integration of local communities through culture and social events.
